His hard work and experience paved the way for an early entry into the Medical College of Virginia’s School of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors in 1987. For thirty-three years Dr. Midgette’s dental career flourished in Chesapeake, culminating in a highly successful private practice dedicated to excellent dental care. Dr. Midgette is committed to continually improving patient care, seeking advanced continuing education and attaining “Master” status from the Academy of General Dentistry. In 1986, Dr. Midgette married Richmond native Lisa Sams, who he met in 1983 when she was studying dental hygiene and he was enrolled in dental school, both at the Medical College of Virginia. Together they have raised two exceptional daughters, three schnauzers, and a goldendoodle. During his downtime, Dr. Midgette enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, playing guitar, fishing, and traveling with Lisa.
